Neighborhood PetCare Hubs
With support from the Petsmart Charities Incubator Grant, we’ve established three core PetCare Hubs at:
- California Community Center
- The Parkhill Neighborhood (with Louisville Parks & Rec)
- The Lord’s Kitchen
These sites host monthly Pet Resource Days to distribute food, leashes, toys, litter, and provide access to preventative vet services, vaccines, microchips, and help with spay/neuter scheduling.
Mobile PetCare Hub
Our outreach team sets up pop-up clinics and resource tables at events across Louisville—reaching even more pet families through trusted local partners. This was made possible by the generous van donation.
Vaccine & Wellness Clinics
We host regular low-cost clinics for cats and dogs, offering:
- Rabies and DAPP vaccines
- Wellness exams
- Nail trims, dewormers, and more

Snips & Chips
Snips & Chips is our newest campaign focused on spay/neuter and microchipping—two powerful tools to keep pets healthy, safe, and home. We’re holding free microchip clinics across the city and partnering with local events like District 15’s B.O.B series to talk with pet families about the benefits of spay/neuter and microchipping. Our goal is to make these essential services accessible, affordable, and easy to understand.
Complete Fix Program As part of Snips & Chips, our Complete Fix bundle offers: spay or neuter, vaccines, microchips, & dewormer – all for just $30-$40 for Jefferson County residents – $500+ value. By combining outreach, education, and low-cost care, Snips & Chips is helping families prevent unwanted litters and keep pets safely at home where they belong.
