As 2024 comes to an end, we’re thrilled to share the incredible progress we’ve made together at Pets4Life Louisville. This year, our mission to support underserved pet families reached new heights—thanks to your generosity, our volunteers, and the many partners who make this work possible.

🐾 Our Total Impact

  • 1,282 pets supported
  • 356 pets received vet care through pop-up clinics and puppy outreach days
  • 926 pets received essential food, supplies, and other resources

Every number represents a pet who stayed healthy, a family who kept their companion, and a community that grew stronger together.

💙 2024 Highlights

PetCare Resource Center – With support from the PetSmart Charities Incubator Grant, we opened a dedicated office at the California Community Center. This space now hosts Pet Resource Days and “Office Hours” to help families one-on-one.

Customer Service Hub – Our new virtual help center now provides personalized guidance, referrals, and transportation assistance for pet families across Louisville.

Community Hubspots – We launched three service “hubspots” in the 40210 zip code—California Community Center, Park Hill Area, and The Lord’s Kitchen—hosting food and resource distribution events with plans for vet clinics soon.

Puppy Outreach Days – In response to a Parvo outbreak, we held neighborhood vaccine and deworming events to protect young pups and prevent disease.

Stronger Partnerships – Collaboration remains the heart of Pets4Life. We’re grateful to work alongside The Table, Olmsted Parks Conservancy, Louisville Metro Animal Services, My Dog Eats First, and many more who share our commitment to keeping families and pets together.

📊 By the Numbers

  • 7 clinics completed (5 Wellness + 2 Vaccine)
  • 279 pets treated on-site
  • 90 % of pets came from zip codes with limited access to vet care
  • 16 resource events held in the 40210 area
  • 204 surveys and 2 focus groups conducted to better understand community needs

💛 Together, We Made a Difference

None of this would have been possible without you. Whether you volunteered, donated, or simply shared our mission, you played an essential role in helping Louisville families keep their pets for life.

As we look ahead to 2025, we’re filled with gratitude and determination to keep growing this compassionate community—one family, one pet, and one act of kindness at a time.
